ARB Electrical Wholesalers (Pty) Ltd (ARB) was founded in 1980 in Richards Bay by Alan Ronald Burke. Through his innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and unyielding passion for providing customers with exceptional service, the business has grown to one of Southern Africa’s largest Black Empowered Electrical Wholesalers on the continent.
From humble beginnings, operating from a shipping container with a single employee and a bakkie, ARB Electrical Wholesalers’ is now proudly represented nationally with a footprint of 21 branches across all nine provinces backed by teams of experts with first-class knowledge in all facets of the electrical solutions landscape, a successful e-commerce platform and a staff complement of over 550 employees servicing Southern Africa.
Our state-of-the-art 40 000m2 facility is located near Midrand, South Africa and has the complete capability to service electrical project requirements of all scopes and sizes throughout Africa and across the globe.
